You can convert cards with small EMV chips (6-pin) into metal with our DIY kit. Most modern cards use these compatible chips.

Our metal card slots are designed for this type of 6-pin rectangle shaped EMV chips used by most major companies.

These larger square shaped 8-pin chips are not compatible with our current metal card design.

Depending on the workload, your card will be made and shipped within approximately 1-3 working days.
You can create an order from the "Special Design" category in our store. After the order, our design team will contact you for your special design.
Even if your old plastic card is contactless, the contactless feature will not work on your new metal card, as the full metal construction blocks the signals. On the bright side, it gives people a chance to admire your new metal card when you use it.
Your chip will maintain its functionality after a successful chip transplant. So if you transplanted the chip from a credit/debit card, it will keep working with point-of-sale (POS) machines. However, we do not recommend using metal cards in ATMs, as this may lead to unwanted issues such as the card getting stuck or damage the ATM.
